Cornerstone Church In Zion

Pastor Dorette Fisher was born in Jamaica West Indies; she is married and the mother of two handsome boys. At the age of 12, Pastor Fisher was called to the ministry, evangelizing, mentoring, and helping promote the Gospel of Yahweh.

At the age of 20, she immigrated to Canada where she earned her degree in Cosmetology. After graduating she taught Cosmetology for 5 years, and then she started her own business called Shalom Beauty Supply, Salon, and Barber Shop. While working she was often prompted by the Holy Spirit to minister to her clients, while serving in various capacities of the ministry, she received her Evangelist’s License from Greater Highway Redemption Ministry in Ontario, Canada.

Pastor Fisher was elevated to the position of a Minister in 2005, she was licensed and ordained at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God in Toronto Ontario, Canada by Bishop Dudley Bent & Pastor Delores Brown, who saw the gifts and calling on her life.

In 2007, Pastor Fisher was directed by the Lord to relocate to the United States, to “deliver those who are bound to set them free.” During her time in the United States, Pastor Fisher was still ministering and preaching the words of Yahweh. In September 2010, she was certified as a Lay Pastoral Counsellor (L.P.C.) by the Board of Examiners of The Evangelical Order of Pastoral Counsellors of America.

In October 2012, Pastor Fisher founded and started Cornerstone Church in Zion, Inc. in her home a ministry that was planted in her by Yahweh twenty-plus- years ago. In January 2013, she received her Credentials of Ministry from Christian Harvest Church.

Pastor Fisher operates in the Five Fold Ministry here at Cornerstone Church in Zion, the purpose and goal of this ministry is “healing, deliverance, restoration, and setting captives free.” Pastor Fisher believes in the fundamentals of biblical principles. She is a strong advocate for deliverance and her mission is to, “plunder hell and populate heaven” for the kingdom of Yahweh.
